Tingstorget, one project, one approach
The “Tingstorget” project consists of 14 multistory apartment buildings that are spread out along two streets, Tingsvägen and Lagmansbacken. These buildings house a total of around 670 homes. We were tasked with 3D visualising the entire Tingstorget project through all phases - a challenge that we took at face value and tackled with gusto!
Alby, Sweden
Alby is a small suburb in Botkyrka Municipalityn of just over 10,000 people near Stockholm. Here entrepreneurial activities are encouraged, small enterprises mix with international conglomerates, and many cultures, languages and religions meet together. Tingstorget is placed in an area that is visible from the highway as well as from the neighboring Tunnelbane station. Along with a public square, this location has a green space with trees and plants where people may gather and play.
How the Tingstorget Project was visualised
It’s no secret that we love our weekends off work and we’re usually pretty up to speed with the latest design tools, trends and products. So when we got the opportunity to create a 3D visualizations of the Tingstorget - designed by the famous Arkitema studio - at the end of Södermalm in Stockholm we knew we had to take it up a notch. We were happy with the end product and the artist who created it. We have no doubt that the Tingstorget visual experience will be remembered for many years to come. The images we created for the project tells a great story and beautifully illustrates the style of the architecture.
Final results
The Tingstorget project was an incredible experience. We’ve been lucky enough to have with us some of the most experienced 3D visualizers in the business, and the result speaks for itself. The Tingstorget project was a rewarding experience because it challenged us to be completely out of our comfort zones. We made mistakes that we’re glad we can see as defects in the finished product, but we also made some great strides forward as a team to improve the quality of our work. The Tingstorget project was definitely a challenging project for all parties - but especially for the 3D artists, who lead the visualization of some of the most significant architectural project in modern Stockholme. The outcome was a beautiful project that provided us with a lot of beautiful architecture.
